Plymouth Argyle (H) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Was that the most one sided game this season?

Even so it was a relief to win
We have two very good Nico's and O'Reilly did a decent post match interview

Can't wait to get to Wembley again. The April semi will be fine for starters

Horrible game to watch but it was a very one sided game and a comfortable win.

Big positives in Reis and O'Reilly, Reis looks a top quality player, excellent on the ball and a superb spring and thus very good in the air.

Huge disappointment from McAtee , he is clearly talented but has little personality or passion on the pitch.

I know at the end of the day the level of performance is what ultimately matters, and City weren't playing Real Madrid, but watching Nico O'Reilly and Vitor Reis yesterday, they looked completely at ease with their surroundings, as if they belong, with nothing to prove. I don't think that's the case with some other players.

Always happy when we win pal, but don’t tell me you were impressed with that? we were so slow & predictable & that comes down to pep’s starting 11, how fuckin long have we all been saying that Bernardo doesn’t work out wide? but pep keeps doing it :-/
A cup game any PL can't win.

The plucky underdog against the rich giant.

We never got out of second gear, we did not have to, they had one shot on goal and we won comfortably.

We got to see the future in Reis and O'Reilly and both looked very good.

Not sure if it’s already been posted but had a chuckle at this. Nedum puts the gobby convict in his place.

What a pair of absolute cunts. Absolutely shocking that media outlets can been so openly biased. Pathetic pricks. I'm actually truly shocked, even by then openly biased tripe we usual have to watch this is shocking. So unprofessional

I love Plymouth - it was a great place to live (I am from Manchester) However, I can agree with you, they do have a lot of rag and red scouse fans. Exeter City appear to be their greatest hatred, though.
They will have celebrated our win in Exeter like it was VE night. No the whole country did not want them to win.

I thought they were really good for spells of the first half. So much more energy than our geriatrics and they ended up with so much space. But in the end they didn't have anywhere near enough quality to capitalise on that.

Looked like a really well drilled side.

Outside of the two goals from Nico, there really wasn't much to get excited about from a City perspective.

Interesting game, if nothing else.

You are aware that there is a post match thread, yes?
