Plzen ticketing issue! Not a happy bunny

Moan, moan, whine, moan!

When I look at the official site I see tickets prices at £33. No one has offered me £15 tickets and I have seen no reference to them other than the whines on this thread.

OK maybe the club got the pricing strategy wrong.

The fact is that it is effectively a dead rubber and consequently many expect to see a League Cup-style reserve team playing. So they are attempting to fill in some of the gaps.

That is what low cost airlines do all the time. If the plane is filling up the prices will rise, if it is likely to be half empty they will discount.

Honestly if I was a football club, I'd make it club policy to always provide free tickets to the police, and to young people from deprived neighbourhoods. It's good to know that City do this as a matter of course.
you should take a look at some of the community work porto do with that transfer fee surplus, disabled sports, medical care etc it's humbling tbh

Interesting ... I definitely will do. I don't have an intimate knowledge of what City do, however my friend the police officer told me that City In the Community work with them in getting tickets out to kids from deprived neighbourhoods. That's a really cool thing to do IMO.

City ruining Children In Need.

I've looked into some of what City are doing and it's great as well, I've friends from Oporto and always loved the work their club do, so seeing the CITC scheme has been one of the best parts of the takeover, just hope they keep it up and keep expanding it.

I have a friend in Manc that's a cop and pays for a season ticket every year. Wait until she hears about all this.

Haha. To qualify what I said earlier, my friend is based very close to the Etihad, and as I said, I think that makes a difference.

I can't get the two coppers out of Early Doors out of my mind.

"Safe standing? Things can be done, Feran. You got any of that nice Malt whiskey?"

I believe that when Khaldoon and Sheikh Mansour talk about the community aspect of City it's not just about paying lip service to it. Everything about them since the takeover has shown that they are completely in tune with the local aspect of the club. It's something we should be immensely proud of.

Right I'm off now to town to have a few bevvies before going to see the Pixies

I just hope, for his sake, there's no-one outside selling the tickets for less than I paid for them!

Billy..tell you what..tell me the name of your copper mate who gets tickets for every prem game and including derby tickets and i will personally email him on monday.I call bullshit re the derby tickets.not a chance do gmp get any tickets for the derby as they dont for 99% of the big games.I will post his reply on here for all to see.
There is no issue at all with deprived children, neighbourhoods, squadies, police officers getting reduced price tickets. My issue is the fans who have been through yrs of shit..you know the customers that gave us 33k in league 2 etc..

£99 for 3 sounded OK when it came out and the opportunity to watch our club in Champions league shouldn't be scoffed at.

Never take it for granted that we will be competing at this level

Yeah, I'll go out on a limb here and say it's probably unlikely that Billy will be giving out the name and contact details of one of his friends to some bloke off the internet!
