Everyone in the group will take 6 points off Plzen so let's not get too excited.Yes we played well in the 2nd half and things did improve as Nasri moved more central.Plenty of plusses from the game but if the first half effort is the same on Sunday we will go in losing at half time.

The first half was actually quite good. We were just unlucky not to score. Especially from the 25th minute on. The second half onslaught was simply a continuation of the last 20 minutes of the first. Although many on the game thread were still wallowing in there negativity, that they couldn't see it.

Enjoyed that 2nd half immensely. MotM Nasri, if only because he supplemented some great attacking play, by working hard defensively. After that, Ya Ya, Kun and Nasty all quality as well. Hopefully, that will inspire us for Sunday as well

Great performance. It isn't easy to win 3-0 away from home in any European match. I was impressed with the defence, who didn't have a lot to do, but did their job when needed. Yaya and Fernandinho showed signs of improvement as a partnership. Nasri played very well in the second half. Dzeko and Aguero both missed a few good chances, yet both scored. Tactically, we set up well and got the 3 points which was important.

Onwards to the derby now. If we play like we did tonight and against Newcastle, then we will comfortably outplay them.
