Point gained or two dropped?

With the current situation, two points dropped definitely. I don't know how you could look at it different.

A win today meant we could take the draw against Tottenham, now we have drawn we must beat them .

Personally, l can handle this as the team that deserves 4th place will get it, the table doesn't lie .

That is 100% correct and it is easy to forget this.

We'll get 4th if we are good enough - we won't if we are not. If another team get 4th then they deserve it but we can still do it.

Either way I a looking forward to European football next season.

A point gained.

We are one point better off than we were earlier on yesterday. Spurs are no better off. How can that be a bad thing?

I don't understand all this bloody negativity from some of you so-called fans. Away to a very very good Arsenal side who were fighting for the Prem title, smarting over a recent defeat to their hated rivals, plus they were welcoming back the influential Robin Van-Persie to their side, and some of you are complaining that we dropped two points against them!

Unbelievable.

Under normal circumstances a good point. However, if we consider that Spurs are going to beat both Bolton at home and Burnley away, a point has absolutely no meaning on the race for 4th and we will have to win our last 3 whatever. If we'd managed to hang on last week I could understand going for the point, should have just gone for it, if we'd lost it would have made little difference to the final positions.

In the context of the season, two points dropped.

But a decent point at a place where only the top 2 sides have done better this season.

If you get a point at Arsenal (especially with our record there) it can only be seen as a point gained. Its frustrating that the point doesn't put us in a better situation with regards to Spurs, but we have our performances in other games over the season to blame for that, not the Arsenal result.

Spot on. It is not the points lost at Arsenal, but the points dropped at home to Burnley, Fulham, Hull etc that MAY cost us come the end of the season.
