Points Whores

Anyone loaning their Ticket Out with no Intention of going is a **** as they are deprieving Blues of Tickets.

Well, not really,no. Surely the opposite, they are allowing a Blue who possibly wouldn't normally be able to go,a chance to go? Unless tickets are being purchased for none-blues?

There are many different circumstances whereby people would use someone else's ticket,to generalise like that is unfair. This method of getting tickets has happened for years, and will continue for many more.

this thread has certainly stirred feeling. Just been talkin to my mate about this thread and he came up with a belting idea, if anyone buys a ticket for any game off another blue they should be able to take the ticket stub to the box office and have the points put on their card and taken off the sellers card, it'd stop all this points whoring.

The problem you have there is the person buying may not have a seasoncard..

But that would surely mean that the club were basically making their own loyalty points system redundant, as anyone can buy a ticket as long as they know someone with enouth pts.

Who would agree to that as well. If someone has enough points and allows another blue to use his ticket because he can't go then someone goes at least. If we use this idea then it could get to a situation where someone buys tickets for games they cant go to and there is an empty seat, just so that will be able to get cup final tickets. Or the person with enough points just says I'll give you the ticket as long as you dont do that.

people are buying tickets purely to get the points and then trying to sell them, its touting for points, if they don't sell them they may go but if they don't then our support looks worse. If they sell them on or give them away then the person who puts the time and effort into attending the game and supporting the team should get the points, therefore the LOYALTY points go to the person who's supported the team not the one who can afford to lose money just so they can get a champs league final ticket or a swamp derby ticket if they fancy putting in an appearance.

The early rounds of the league cup and the Europa cup we played in a half empty stadium, do those 20k supporters who didnt bother to attend deserve to be on a level playing felid as the rest of us who attended those games, do they fuck. Not now and not in 10 years time. Villa at home in the cup level 3 closed says it all really.
