exactly, if they really want to reward loyalty then villa should be 200 points and utd away 10 points.
Now that I do agree with
I've never understood the financial logic for city in giving more points for away games than for home games, especially when in the cups

Didn't they used to change the points awarded according to the game? I seem to remember getting 100 points for a cup game at home a couple of years ago? Villa?
A couple of years ago in the FA Cup and the Europa League they upped the points to 50, could have been a 100, points per game and then they were doubled at the end of the competition

It helped increase the attendance

30 points for every home game, 10 points for every away game, no cup scheme loyalty points, 50 loyalty points for every seasoncard holder. If this had been implemented from day 1 to now, loyalty points would make more sense

Its not rocket science for the club to implement. league cup ealry rounds £17.50 and a 100 loyalty points would get more fans in than £17.50 and 10 loyalty points. Cost no more in money to the fan and the club dont lose out as loyalty points costs no money!

Cue the loyalty point poilice saying "but people will just buy the ticket for the points and not bother turning up"

I dont need 100 loyalty points to make me go and watch my team

Which is exactly what happened at Arsenal in the League Cup last season. We received about 5,000 tickets that were £5 IIRC, it sold out and there was only about 4,000(ish) there.

Perhaps this could be stopped by the club only apportioning the points when you have gained actual access into the stadium.

Also, it is obviously easy enough for City to add loyalty points to our accounts, so it should be just as easy to deduct them. If you buy a ticket and don't turn up, you get a points deduction.

After all, is a ''Loyalty'' points system.
