Points Whores

i don't see it as putting the time in, i have always thought being able to follow city home and away as an absolute privilege.
points are just a by product of that privilege.

I thought a good idea would be to have a scaled number of loyalty points dependent on how long you have your season card.So for example...

year 1 - 100pts - 10pts per game
Year 2 - 200pts - 20pts per game
Year 3 - 300pts - 30pts per game

Goin up to a maximum of 500pts at the start of each season if you are a 5 yr season ticket holder or 15 yr..max points per game is then 50..

Surely this is a much fairer way and recognises people who have been their a lot longer?

We would still have people buying and selling tickets with no intention of going! I still think the first come first served way would be better!

The points are a good idea but they are being exploited so a first come first served might be better but i did start to think after i made that post that times have changed and there would be thousands of people waiting at the ticket office so maybe a bad idea in all fairness! I just thought that if you 100% wanted to go you would make the effort to be first in line for a ticket

there are certain bands that i love to go and see

however when the tickets go on sale for their concerts i am never able to get them and end up paying well over the odds to get a ticket
mainly because people are prepared to queue up or spend hours online getting them with no intention of going, they just flog them on ebay to make money

aren't tickets expensive enough without having to factor in a day off work to get them

Yes

Value gold can't upgrade to platinum . Not about principles . When I had more disposable income I got more points . Its points for money which everway you look at it . Rightly or Wrongly its the way of the world
My therapist told me ”Don't worry about things you can't change & keep taking the tablets”

As i said earlier the club has not helped this situation. When the gold and platinum memberships were introduced last season the club used doubling your loyalty points as a selling point to pay £50 extra and go platinum. If it was a standard 10 points a game as it once was I don't think this would be an issue or certainly not on the scale it now is.
