Justice for Poland, that was never in a million years a penalty in any way shape or form. The ref and the var ref should be sacked immediately if they deem that a pen, joke of a decision.

Our man Alvarez looks lively but he's spending far too much time out in wide positions not really doing anyhhing other than occupying space. He needs to get himself closer to Messi who can play intricate balls to play him through and stay central for the balls in.

Turned on just as they awarded the 'penalty', thought this is completely bent and was about to turn off then it was brilliantly saved. Going to watch now in the (probably vain) hope that Poland can keep them out till the 93rd min and then Lewandowski can nick a goal, will be no more than FIFA deserve, bent twats. Will feel a bit bad for Alva (and Zabba!) but that decision was a disgrace that can't be justified in any way shape or form.

if I was Argentina I’d be wary of Poland nicking this in the 2nd half once they run out of ideas, like the Saudi game

Some would argue that the semi automated offside system should be the only thing.

It’ll just mean we go back to the age of many things missed and a lot more controversy. It makes the game exciting for the neural (in club football) and players can celebrate like normal.

As long as human being officiate, there will always be errors as well as subjective interpretation of certain actions like the penalty call…
There’s not much you can say about that call, apart from it’s totally wrong.

How many times a game does an attacker get a shot off and get caught by a defender/keeper trying to block the shot?

It’s not only the VAR buffoon, it’s the referee on field not having the minerals to say “fuck off, that’s never a pen“
