Some would argue that the semi automated offside system should be the only thing.

It’ll just mean we go back to the age of many things missed and a lot more controversy. It makes the game exciting for the neural (in club football) and players can celebrate like normal.

As long as human being officiate, there will always be errors as well as subjective interpretation of certain actions like the penalty call…
I’m a total VAR hater. I’d swap a city relegation I hate it that much as it is atm. That said, the chip in that ball is much much better. You more or less know now if the flag doesn’t go up within a few seconds, then it is probably onside and the point of when the ball is hit is correct. We just need to get rid of the clowns making debatable decisions from the var box. Absolute farce

Since the introduction of the tech, I think it’s played out how I thought it would. No matter what anyone thinks, it’ll be the same if people here also did the job.

Some here think certain things that are fouls are not and some think certain calls that are pens are not. It’s all subject to your own interpretation of what you see.

No matter how many people are replaced or trained, it’ll turn out the same. On another night, another group of officials wouldn’t even take a look at the penalty call. I can’t and will never expect consistency with the use of var. One has to accept such margins of error when people are involved.
