I couldn't do your job. I'd not be able to just arrest someone who's abused a child, robbed a pensioner, some pissed up scrote giving me uneccessary abuse etc. And the paperwork...........................

alot of them abuse it their position though, get people a kicking for example.

like general people, you get good cops and bad ones.

but we definitley need them.

don't get me wrong ive met some terrific officers, and seen them handle situations brilliantly.

but ive also seen the opposite, a friend of mine got concusion from a copper and he wasn't even being violent. the officer ended up losing his job over it.

No sympathy around these parts, well not from myself and not because I hate the police either..... Everyone is feeling the pinch, I'd love to be on Police Salary - shit i'd do your job for free... But being white and male - The GMP have no interest in me.

I can protect myself, the law does not protect me. the law is in place to protect and serve the rich.
More concern for land owners and so on rather than the little old lady getting her false teeth stolen.

Your job is to protect the small minority who own the majority of wealth in this country.

I'm no fan of the Police either , but cuttin' things like front line officers wages can only lead to a lowering of morale amongst people who probably already feel as though they're on a hiding to nothing anyway.

This,moral throughout the emergency services is very low.
Yes,the wage is decent(not brilliant) and guaranteed but the sacrifices and impact on your lifestyle and health are huge and often longterm.

Many feel undervalued and would leave if they could find an alternative.

...fire fighters and medic personel granted in that EMS bracket but the 'odd lot' will juss continue gettin kicks out of taking frustrations out on John and Jane Doe whilst ironing ego's with a range of power to abuse !
