Police yesterday

not sure why its a surprise to anyone that police and bouncers were acting like cunts, part of the job description i think

Security guard in Tesco told me there had been trouble on Deansgate and to be careful. It might have been billed as City's day, but there were quite a few Utd fans in town

Yea, only trouble I saw yesterday was near Shudehill station, next the Arndale car park entrance.

A lad was walking across the road in the direction of a gang of blues, something was said and he started to get battered.
Other blues in the area noticed this and went over to throw in their own digs at the Rag.
As ever probably more chance of trouble in pubs away from the ground.

There'll have been City fans and Utd fans in the same pubs watching the game all over the North West and imagine the total swings in mood at the final whistle.

I can only speak for the pub i watched the game in , the Parrs Wood in East Didsbury ....

Probably slightly more rags in than City , although debateable ... and after QPR scored their second they started singing 'united' right behind us tryin' to provoke a reaction .... but the blues never rose to the bait , and when Aguero scored the frustrated rags stormed out of the pub, never to be seen again , leaving only jubilant City fans celebrating inside !

In the same vain - name those that did us proud too and stick by them for the future.
I'll start with the Bank.
i know where you are coming from

one of the reasons i always go to KRO is that they welcome blues and in colours

we have been to Simple several times over the last two seasons and in colours, never a problem
however on Sunday they said no colours, even though when i booked over the phone they said nothing
all our party changed apart from me and the wife

why do football fans get treated as second class citizens, even though there was nobody in the fucking place, they are all throwing money away.

There's an Italian restaurant in Albert Sq, dunno its name but its next to starbucks.
They were great and had no problem with us going in just for drinks, must have been the only bar open in Albert sq at the time. It obv went under the radar as there weren't many in there..!

Yeah some of us had to strip to our underwear :-)

Check the Ya Ya/Kolo Kolo vid out on here - that was the Bank.
We were on our way to Albert Sq, only went in for one and the rest is a bit blurry. What a surprise, welcome happy people in to have a good time, relax the usual rules a bit on such a momentous occassion and guess what, everyones a winner..
Seems a far cry from a lot of the other places in town reading this.
God forbid we should celebrate winning the league in our own City.
Well, fuck em all in future I say, Kro too if they were being twats. Or was that just the police?
We don't usually go in the Bank but reckon they now have a fair few more customers on match days for their attitude on Sunday.

Walked around town for ages after Sundays win. Couldn't get in one bar....no colours, shut, stopped serving, GMP advice, etc etc etc....Tossers the lot of them!

First stop was City Square then onto the Mitchell Arms (not my usual but stopped off walking to town for a quick one) Then the Waldorf but there was no lager left by the time we got there at 7.45ish apart from a few bottles in the fridge. Mother Macs had the doors locked and wasletting nobody else in so walked to Shambles where we were given a couple of cans on the way by some friendly Blues. Shambles was empty apart from a couple of nearby Rags who tried having a go but we gave it back and they fucked off. Walked up to Shudehill singing songs and bumped into BTH on his way home. Luckily met dennishasdoneit having a cig outside The Hare and Hounds and we managed to get in there although the doors were supposed to be closed. Thought about going over to the Basement Bar but flagged a taxi on the way and went home to a large bucket of Southern Fried Chicken, cans of cider and MOTD.

Didn't see any trouble or police just loads of City wandering the streets singing songs. Can we do it again next week please?

Was it the bars/pubs who we being gits or was it the Police telling them to close or not serve us. We went to the Slug & Lettuce in Albert Sq and was ok until the Police turned up. Then they stopped serving. Same thing happened when we went on to the Shambles. Thought it was the Police each time but not sure after reading this. Didn't spoil the party as everyone had bags of tinnies anyway.
