If this is true, then wtf?
What mind must you have to commit such perversion? If this is true, then wtf?
I realize I will be the lone voice here for the police (in general) not some of the racist assholes who have committed some of the crimes noted, but I’m up for it…
Policing in America is different than policing anywhere else because of 2A and the ability of almost anyone to legally own a gun and EVERYONE (ESP THE BAD GUYS) to ILLEGALLY obtain one and use it to avoid street or official justice.
EVERY POLICE INTERACTION…for the cop…is a life-threatening interaction. EVERY ONE!
Now, you might say that the police shot an “unarmed” man, but when the police officer is armed, he cannot allow anyone too close to him and can definitely not allow anyone to physically assault him, lest he be overpowered and killed by his own gun.
None of that detracts from the heinous injustice regularly served on seemingly innocent people by racist or poorly trained police, but there are many, many, many more decent cops than bent ones who would kill you in a second for looking at them wrong.
I, and most police officers, have no problem with removing bad officers from the force, but one has to be mindful of what we are asking police officers to do and why…and much of the time they are not dealing with “angels” with too much to lose to confront them.
Now, I hate to even bring up the cowboy duels of the Wild Wild West, because it’ll elicit much amusement and repetition about the word “cowboy,” BUT for many officers, in many situations, it has been whoever has been quickest on the draw that has survived the interaction.
When stopped by a cop, they are looking for calm, cooperative and compliant. If you’re not calm, that raises hair on their neck. If you are non-cooperative, it creates a proximity issue to force cooperation if warranted. If those are then further exacerbated by non-compliance, now it’s very, very difficult to enforce it WITHOUT a gun drawn.
It’s the nature of the beast.
Cops feel like they’re out there to protect society, not sacrifice themselves by being targeted on the streets. If it comes down to you or potentially them, they are going to choose THEIR life over sacrificing it for some punk they just came across for the first time in their life.
I know a few guys (one an ex-vice cop and one a current undercover DEA agent) and I’ve not only been shooting with them but talked about their jobs. Believe me, you wouldn’t want it anymore than I would! It takes a special KIND of person to do it, and some of those take that “special” to an unhealthy extreme. It is those people we all need to remove from a position of authority, but often the discovery occurs too late.

Six white ex-Mississippi officers plead guilty to racist assault on two Black men
‘Goon Squad’ burst into a home on 24 January 2024 without a warrant and brutalized the two men, shooting one in the mouth
The charges come after an Associated Press investigation that linked the deputies involved in the episode to at least four violent encounters with Black men since 2019 that left two dead and another with lasting injuries.
The officers assaulted them with a sex object, beat them and used their stun guns repeatedly over a roughly 90-minute period. The episode culminated with one deputy placing a gun in Jenkins’ mouth and firing, which cut his tongue, broke his jaw and exited out his neck, the court documents said.
The officers did not give him medical attention, instead discussing a “false cover story to cover up their misconduct”, as well as planting and tampering with evidence, the documents said.
The officers went to the home in Braxton because a white neighbor had complained that Black people were staying with the white woman who owned the house, court documents said. Officers used racist slurs against the two men during the raid, the court documents show.
If the so called "good apples" could only tell on the "bad apples" in the police system then perhaps most wouldn't have the distrust that they have about the cops. Unfortunately that has hardly been the case. I remember a case in LA where a black officer reported the racist elements in his police department only to end up getting fired. It wasn't untik years later when an FBI investigation found out that truky there were officers tied to the KKK and Nazi groups with some of them carefully hiding their gang symbols in plain sight.Federal court records detail how they burst into a home without a warrant, handcuffed Jenkins and Parker, assaulted them with a sex toy and beat Parker with wood and a metal sword. They poured milk, alcohol and chocolate syrup over their faces and then forced them to strip naked and shower together to conceal the mess.
Then one of them put a gun in Jenkins' mouth and fired.
As Jenkins lay bleeding, they didn't render medical aid. They knew the mission had gone too far and devised a hasty cover-up scheme that included a fictitious narcotics bust, a planted gun and drugs, stolen surveillance footage and threats.
The deputies were under the watch of Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey, who called it the worst episode of police brutality he has seen in his career.

These Mississippi officers where well known in their police department and even went by the name goon squad and had committed a lot of atrocities with reports going as far back as 2019 and some how they were still in the police force. Tells you all you need to know about the American police system and the structure it was founded on
should he be telling you he’s an undercover DEA agent? If he is one I suspect he isn’t very good. “Special” even.I realize I will be the lone voice here for the police (in general) not some of the racist assholes who have committed some of the crimes noted, but I’m up for it…
