Policing in America

who gives a fuck, it's america ffs
And America and American sentiment is a reflection on the behavior/outcome/sentiment of many other nations.

Put another way - as an American - America is fucked big time if the UK - the strongest of our allies - suffers.

Is this not reciprocal?

Policing in the USA is messed up on many, many levels. But it's under heavy scrutiny and hopefully will start to improve.

Someone said to me, last week, that they don't understand my politics...

For people that think things are 'better' with a change of presidency, for Black people:

Er, Why Can't We All Just Get Along...?

I was going to point out how obviously wrong you are... but then I realized that you have a super power - binary politics.

Binary refers to two states - for example, zero or one. It's either zero or one.

And you Bigga look at politics through a binary lens - it's either perfect - or it's all the same not perfect.

Here's a thought - progress is usually accomplished incrementally. The worst is replaced by the bad and then by the tolerable, followed by the good and hopefully then by the best. You are blind to this progression - and thus do nothing to advance incremental improvement.

Indeed you can think as you like.

The reason people like yourself are capable of thinking in those terms of 'acceptable incrementalism' is because you are likely not to suffer from them, directly or indirectly.

I'm not sure where your moral political landscape lies when understanding what happened to those 5 and 6 year olds were nothing short of racism and cruelty. I'm assuming you're okay with incrementalism happening in dealing with this situation?

If that is NOT your point, I suggest you find something relevant to quote me with, otherwise you'll be looking mightily stupid and heartless to choose what you have done.

You entirely miss my point. Which is that best is the enemy of good. Best is unattainable currently - but it is obtainable through incremental improvement. Instead, you actively thwart that outcome - by attacking better and claiming it's the same as worst.
