Policing in the UK

Not as much as the copper has had to endure. Imagine being charged with murder for doing your job and the person involved was a murderer, or wannabe murderer, shooting people in nightclubs. Awful, I cant imagine what he went through for 2 years
It doesn't do much for a recruitment campaign either. They wonder why the numbers are low in the military. Shit conditions/shit money and the possibility we could come after you 30 years later .

I was brought up to respect the police.

In my 46 years on this planet I've seen them used politically and weakened to a point where I don't think they have any respect, or fear for their role.

Heavily understaffed, and the petty criminal cunts know that and continue to be emboldened cunts. I see it at work everyday. Colleagues being instructed to do stuff they should be doing because they don't have the facilities or support to do what they should be doing.

BTP are heavily understaffed. Civil try to pass off any issues to them and threatened to arrest one of my colleagues for doing his job when he refused to take fighting football fans on an already crowded train.

When they do their jobs they are fearful and I can see it in them. One false move and they are the ones up in court over the cunts they are supposed to be stopping.

You only have to look at some of the types who were released the other week. All met in expensive sports cars with open shows of wealth literally outside the prison gates.

The criminals don't fear anything, they're unlikely to get done and at worse the prison sentences aren't massive and prison itself is a cake walk. Would you risk 5 years in prison reduced to 2 years only to walk out as a millionaire anyway?

They might think twice if there was a zero tolerance approach as it is in places like Singapore. You can get the death sentence there for dealing and I imagine the prison sentences otherwise are huge. What is the crime like in Singapore? Zero, none.

Nobody in power gives a toss, we're led nowadays by people who want to solve drug crime by legalising drugs which kill people. Politicians are also less likely to go after drug dealers given it would increase the price of their exotic powders!

Add in underfunding and the risk of being prosecuted for doing their jobs etc etc. The police are fighting a losing battle right from the start.

Cheers pal.
Let's hope these two thugs get their comeuppance that they richly deserve.

Finally! 2 have been charged - 5 months after the incident.

Has the **** not been charged for inciting a riot outside the police station yet?
