Policing in the UK

Has the **** not been charged for inciting a riot outside the police station yet?

No idea, but seeing as the footage of these two cunts assaulting officers was broadcast all over the news, I’d have thought these charges would’ve been brought much sooner than this.

It’s calmed down a lot now though hasn’t it, so…

Something I very wrong with our legal system if it takes 5 months for CPS to make a decision.
I’d certainly be interested to know the real reason why the delay in charging them. I’d hazard a guess if I go out later and twat a copper in town, one with a gun monitoring the markets, let’s say, I think I’d be in the cells over Christmas and charged quickly.

5 months. 22 weeks. 153 days. Very strange.

You only have to look at some of the types who were released the other week. All met in expensive sports cars with open shows of wealth literally outside the prison gates.

The criminals don't fear anything, they're unlikely to get done and at worse the prison sentences aren't massive and prison itself is a cake walk. Would you risk 5 years in prison reduced to 2 years only to walk out as a millionaire anyway?

They might think twice if there was a zero tolerance approach as it is in places like Singapore. You can get the death sentence there for dealing and I imagine the prison sentences otherwise are huge. What is the crime like in Singapore? Zero, none.

Nobody in power gives a toss, we're led nowadays by people who want to solve drug crime by legalising drugs which kill people. Politicians are also less likely to go after drug dealers given it would increase the price of their exotic powders!

Add in underfunding and the risk of being prosecuted for doing their jobs etc etc. The police are fighting a losing battle right from the start.

UK crime rates have been trending downward for decades. Same is true of most industrialised nations. On a personal note, I’m not a fan of hanging people for dealing pot.

How on earth has that copper not been charged aswel. Mind boggling.
‘After seeking expert opinion’ and ‘police training’…numerous posts earlier in this thread helped shed light on police use of force and a subjective ‘honestly held belief’…therefore cps decided after a lengthy investigation that there was insufficient evidence to charge.

The officer has had their suspension lifted.

Of course there now follows what will likely be an even lengthier IOPC investigation-so you may get your wish..

Personally I agree with the cps decision.
