Policing in the UK

After seeing the video of the stop I can’t believe the CPS thought there was enough evidence to prosecute the copper. They are usually so risk averse when prosecuting the public.
Can’t help thinking there was political interference at the CPS. I suspect they were worried about potential riots if charges weren’t pursued following the Mark Duggan experience a few years earlier, and various other scandals involving the Met. Having a trial and acquittal by a jury has certainly reduced that risk significantly, although it should never have come to this.
 
Here is the problem right here in this interview. A family totally choosing to ignore that their family member was a violent criminal and his actions in pursuing that lifestyle ultimately led to his death. If it wasn't at the hands of the police it would have been at the hands of another equally violent thug. They need the stop blaming everybody else and take some responsibilities for their own choices and lifestyles.
