Add to that you also have FOM in our protectorates of the crown like the IOM and CI that is another 3 natiions

Which we can now change to suit us, rather than change to suit the EU whether it suits us or not, or not even be allowed to change because it doesn’t suit the EU.

It's not the EU has caused those crises, it's been government policy, The EU didn't make us cut doctors, nurses, beds, police, libraries, youth clubs, etc etc etc etc etc.

I think our countryside is absolutely stunning.

You realise it more when you abroad and see the countryside in other countries.

To be clear, I operate a zero tolerance policy. ‘Less’ would be a generous interpretation.

For example, people who have the opinion that masks should not be worn in a pandemic, Covid 19 is a hoax, putting up trade barriers will ‘boost’ trade’.

They are drooling idiots whose views I will not entertain.

Seeing as Ban was replying to me I assume that is where you were aiming.

I actually try to keep a less confromtational and moderately fair level of diacussion on here and never stoop to making personal insults amd when a debate/arguement is becoming repetative and frustrating I bow out rather than be a **** and I would never advocate stifling debate here, but reserve the right to call someone out for being wrong if necessary

I will call out racist, far right twats and wankers in the political world on here as is my opinion, I welcome others to argue why I am wrong.

Labeling a collection of posters as x, y, & z is more intollerant in my opinion.

Then you look at a change in the way agriculture is operated to make way for this. Don’t just keep farming going the way it’s been managed for centuries, take it into 21st Century thinking. Which we wouldn’t have been able to under the EU because the EU pays farmers based on how much land they farm rather than the production efficiencies on what they farm.

That's way too simplistic (or wrong) about the CAP.

"Pillar 1 payments are direct income support payments to farmers. To remove any incentive to overproduce, payment (known in England as the Basic Payment Scheme) is based on the amount of land a farmer owns, not how much they produce. This money comes direct from the EU and is administered by national governments (Defra for farmers in England, the devolved administrations for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). In order to qualify for payment, farmers have to meet certain standards on environmental management, animal welfare standards and traceability – these conditions are known as ‘cross-compliance’. Member states can also apply market support measures in certain conditions – the UK has used this to support dairy farmers when prices have been particularly low.

"Pillar 2 requires co-financing from member state governments. The EU describes the purposes of this as:

• fostering the competitiveness of agriculture
• ensuring the sustainable management of natural resources
• combating climate change
• achieving a balanced territorial development of rural economies and communities including the creation and maintenance of employment."

Whereas we are now going to pay farmers for vague environmenatal benefits, and make them sit down with a "trusted agronomist" to advise them (as if most farmers don't already know how soil works). What we're not going to do is subsidise food prices. Enjoy the price rises.
