I am guessing that when a ferry docks and di-embarks the trucks and cars aboard it can be refilled with new cars and trucks. In the early hours I guess some truckers are fast asleep and those behind who are impatient to move forward are beeping at them to wake them up and get started?
 
Wait a minute, the term ‘traffic jam’ would suggest an unwelcome inconvenience caused by the fuck-up that is brexit……….

Seems to me the entire brexit plot was an attempt to damage the EU, the UK just a pawn. The lack of any tangible benefits to the population at large, prompts the questions who the fuck does, who can afford it. Obviously, billionaires, and the US has many more than us, and like ours belong to and fund Atlas, an umbrella group of far-right so-called "think tanks" which are in fact propaganda factories for the neocons. Think tank "findings" can be trumpeted as "facts" in tame media, whose owners co-incidently are billionaires. The UK is a flea compared to the US elephant whereas the EU is another elephant and therefore a threat to the far-right dream of a global free uncontrolled market, dominated by america. Putin is a billionaire, it's not beyond the realms of imagination that the present hoo-ha involving his troops has more than land-grab as motivation.

The government are relying on the stupidity of a lot of people when they come out with nonsense like this. Trying to pretend it's a great idea to do product certification multiple times to multiple foreign standards is better than doing it once to a standard that is widely recognised is absolutely idiotic.

It’s better than him doubling down and telling businesses to do whatever they want.

They won’t be listening to him anyway. They will already know that their products need to meet EU refs or they can’t sell.

Kind of begs the question why Mogg has come out and said this.

Moggy is trying to get the proles who read a right wing rag obsesses with princess Di or Madeline McCann to decide Brexit policy so he doesn't have to.

He's sending a blatant lie out to the Johnson voter base that Brexit can be a good thing not the stupid thing that it really is and relying on their partisanship and ignorance not to read between the lines and research it. Absolute standard gaslighting stuff for this government. Sadly, it works too.

M and S can't fulfil its British pork commitment.

As thousands more pigs are culled rather than going into the food chain (for lack of EU workers in abattoirs), there's a 10% reduction in UK pig production so more imports from the EU and elsewhere.

Any Brexiteers left on here who will say it's because we didn't produce electric pigs?

Honestly, it makes me want to slap 16 million custard pies into 16 million gormless faces. Hard.

Johnson, Farage, Banks, Rees Mogg, Duncan Smith, Martin...None of these people had any understanding of the Brexit they promoted in 2016. None of them have any understanding of it even now.
