Political relations between UK-EU

This got an airing last week but there are different bits in this review.

"Who will be Britain be global with?"

It's a good read that actually and she's right on the money in her assessment of how we got here. I've also said several times on here that without Johnson Leave would never have won and she also describes that as the deciding factor. That's why he looked utterly horrified on the day of the result and then went into hiding.

and he will go into hiding when the final special arrangements with imports from the EU come into play and the havoc is complete - quite appropriately on Aprils Fools Day or the Famine Day of St Boris the Unready as it will become known

Have you noticed how the stalwarts and defenders of this are notably absent from this thread ( and the Tory one and the Johnson one ) as the whole shit show unravels in a storm of lies and faux news pieces in papers that are really Govt sponsored ads to tell lies to try and convince them that the whole thing is a massive success.

With regards to your last point I think we have always seen that EU countries always apply EU to suit their own agendas when it suits them.

I think you'll find that its the UK that has always gone for the ''gold plated'' option and over enforced any directive. A trip to Spain / Greece / Italy will validate that.

Eu directives were always about 'minimum standards'' that can be reasonably applied across all member states.
