Political relations between UK-EU

Now its UK silversmiths who are bolloxed by Brexit as the failure of the deal to ensure UK hall marks are recognised by the EU. Is there any Brexiteer alive who still thinks Frosty the Showman knew what he was doing?

Oh, it doesn't matter. They'll read their Daily Express columns, watch an old bloke on Question time wanting the Royal Navy kill French fishermen, and applaud with gusto.

The Sir John Hayes referred to in that article is a Tory MP who actually voted for the deal - he's a pal of IDS - you know the IDS who denied that MP's needed any Parliamentary time to scrutinize the deal as they knew it was a good one anyway.

IDS is generally regarded by those in the army as the thickest twat that ever wore the uniform. He started off as a commissioned officer, but let's just say his descent into the more menial roles available was class leading.

so it seems the answer to all the red tape is new and probably more red tape ! Produce a roadmap which is described in parts as vague and look to introduce it without the other sides agreement - has all the hall marks of Frosty grandstanding again

It works the other way too, hallmarks for countries who are not a signature to the convention will not be recognised by the UK. As I’ve said before there are no winners in these things, it needs sorting for the benefit of both sides.

One point of correction to that article, Italy do accept the CCM even though they are not signatories currently.

That just about sums it up. There are no winners out of Brexit on either side of the European divide other than providers of services introduced by all the new red tape, just a scale of losers with Great Britain being the biggest loser followed by NI. The winners will be Europe's competitors across the Atlantic and in Asia.

Frosty the Showman again - professional negotiator my arse - they sell the very idea of Brexit as a thing that will deliver opportunities - 5 years later....nothing......nada.....not a clue and an administration so bereft of ideas they are looking to bring more expensive consultants to see what they can find............Brexit - The Big Lie.
