I know it’s not right. I could do a two week choir tour in Europe pee-Covid. I can’t now, without huge expense.

Just saw that on the BBC. Is that an effect of Brexit somehow? Or just there being a high cost in the UK taht they're objecting to?

No it wasn't. Touring europe was easy and for many bands their life blood, now it's really difficult for them.

It’s probably just a coincidence that Visa have upped the charges in the U.K., but not Europe.
If we were to delve into what regulations have changed in the past year, I’m sure there might be a spurious argument to suggest that it wasn’t Brexit, but I haven’t found one.

Visa-Amazon fallout arises out of Brexit - the UK no longer being capped under EU law for its interchange fees. Was 0.3% up until last year, now 1.5% for UK. Source BBC.
