There’s not much sense ever in politics mate. I just think humans are eejits

There has been lots of sense in politics over the years - just the current crop are the ejits and the bone idle will let them get away with it rather than do something about it. They are just happy to swallow - they are all the same as each other - or - the other lot would be worse ( with no proof or evidence ) coz to go with that flow is just easy

“US, France and Italy have problems too”. Yes but we are the only ones with empty shelves. Eejit.

funny that eh? Italy has said they are 15k drivers short - we say we are 100k drivers short - somehow that is an equivalent number. Are French shelves empty? Well they were in January - only in certain stores lol

so were Italy's in February - but they had the balls to put it down to Covid

Maybe they just disagree with you mate?

But then again the apocalypse predicted for the economy hasn’t happened, even with a pandemic, the recovery has been fairly good - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....gh-but-staff-shortages-a-concern-covid-lloyds

I guess the sensible view on Brexit is it was always going to cause issues and whether those issues were worth taking some of the power back from Brussels to London was worth it, that should have been the debate but not even our politicians knew enough to say that.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing as I didn’t have a clue in 2016 and didn’t really until this year.
Well if you “didn’t have a clue” back in 2016 maybe you should have fucking listened to those of us who did. Or every single living Prime Minsister or ex Prime Minster of this country.

You don’t need to be an political expert to realise that if the loudest people pushing you in a certain direction are Farage, Trump, Botham, Johnson (both of them), Hopkins, Banks, Murdoch et al, then you are being lead down the wrong path. Neil Warnock should have been enough on his own to make you think twice for gods sake.

You did a stupid thing because you were thrown a collage of lies by unaccountable shitheads, usually with ulterior motives. If you want to quote “sensible” then have the decency to recognise that because it is now irrefutable.

Hindsight is wonderful indeed but not as good as foresight of which there was plenty.

I didn’t vote leave you condescending little prat.

Even if I did it’s none of your fucking business which way anyone voted.

Really?
We used to have a major influence in setting the rules of the world’s largest trading bloc. Now we accept their rules if we want to trade with them.
Seems you’ve got it the wrong way round.
Yes really. I know we had a major influence, that’s why staying in the Single Market without a say was daft.

We don’t accept their rules to trade with them, we will continue to trade with the EU on a lesser scale without tons of the rules that go with it.

maybe so - maybe they think these people are their betters enjoy tugging a forelock and taking it up the arse - their choice - maybe they really don't need that extra 20 quid a week
Forgive me if I’m mistaken but aren’t you a Labour supporter? It’s what I’ve gathered from your posts in the last week or so.

You do realise Labour have a policy, as did Corbyn’s Labour, of increasing taxes? You do know the left prefer to tax to improve services to the population?

@Didsbury Dave also using past Prime Ministers as examples of who to trust, with the most prominent one being the cretin responsible for the Iraq War, is an absolutely ridiculous argument.

Unfortunately, and alas, there are be tons of new rules that go with trading with the EU. Brexit rules. Lots and lots of expensive Brexit rules.

Want to know how to eliminate all these expensive new rules? You align with EU rules thereby getting rid of all the Brexit red tape and Brexit rules.

The other solution is not to apply the rules to the EU while they apply the rules to us - currently our favoured solution. A solution born out of desperation and necessity.

Anyway, Tory stalwart and chairman of M&S is sounding the alarm on the Brexit rules due at the end of this month. It is odds on that we further extend the somewhat unequal trading relationship with the EU by not enforcing the rules we signed up to on 1st Oct.

Pass the popcorn.

In terms of trade barriers but it makes the UK a rule taker, rather than rule maker.
Oh heavens. Tell that to an exporter that is now subject to 100 times the red tape they had before.
what Rules are we capable of making now mate, in our isolated trade world? Maybe we should be self sufficient? Oh sorry, we have cut off our main manual worker supply line.

We are well and truly fucked. Fucked by COVID, fucked by brexit, fucked by the cretins some voted in as our ‘government’.

Yeah, you go with Neil Warnock mate.

I can see from your posts you have similar levels of political awareness.
As I’ve said, I didn’t vote leave so I’ve no idea what the Warnock reference is about.

People like you sit there calling people stupid who vote differently to you and then wonder why you keep losing elections.

Maybe it’s your high and mighty arrogant fuck position on everything, that puts people off?
