i think the problem with communism is that those who have tried it havent done it properly because human greed will always fuck it up, russia north korea were hardly open countries who let their citizens leave if they werent happy, communist regimes have tended to be rather oppresive which certainly gives an indication that all wasnt well

i think the problem with communism is that those who have tried it havent done it properly because human greed will always fuck it up, russia north korea were hardly open countries who let their citizens leave if they werent happy, communist regimes have tended to be rather oppresive which certainly gives an indication that all wasnt well

Because most socialists in my experience are very nasty pieces of work once you peel away a few layers and are also effected by greed as are all humans, it's in our nature to want more-why fight it?!

if it is an idea that will never be used due to the greed of man then its not even worth discussing, any system of government has to have an element of realism attatched to it

if you believe that communism hasnt been properly explored because some people are ill educated,misinformed or cretins then it is flawed before it starts

the world is full of all sorts of people and utopia cannot be achieved so why bother in the first place

Good point mate, i dont believe utopia can be achieved because of mans greed, but we can get close to a place where we can all live in harmony, with full bellies and a little bit of certainty in our futures.

Marxism has many qualities, it also has its flaws, it was also wrote before todays technoligak advances, but its basic premise to e is one that is right. We are all in effect born equal and we all die equal, its the bit in the middle that counts. Equal opportunity for all and that for me is the most important tenet of any society.

and if it could be made to work i would be first in the queue believe me i hate inequality with a passion but people can be selfish bastards, ive said it till im blue in the face the right left arguement is bollocks because it just leads to rich versus poor

to me a politician who cheats on his expenses is no better or worse than a guy who wont do a days work and is willing to live on others work, the left berates one the right the other

they are both fuckers but any politician who even tries to go after both will find himself in the wilderness

our political system makes people choose sides which ultimately means we all lose
