Bernardo as a 6? Fuck that. The 6 is a very disciplined role and needs to understand press, cover and how to break lines.

Ye the rodri one was ridiculous. But still found it funny how the player he fouled moaned. As he was getting away with stuff all game.
 
Ref was awful last night. Booking City players for absolutely nothing then missing some fouls that were definitely bookings on both sides. Pepe should have been sent off for the afters with Sterling. That's a red card any day in Europe. Seemed to be booking City for any little touch on a Porto player in the first half whilst letting play go on when we got fouled. Then in the second half decided to let pretty much anything go! At least we got our penalty mind - bit of a treat from VAR because I expected it not to be given having seen Gundogan's accidental foot in on the keeper.

He has got the engine to do it and he is clever footballer. De Bruyne has played a deeper role in the past too, problem is at the moment our build up play is slow and ponderous. Smashing into the opposition when they turn the ball over in the their own half doesn’t happen like a couple of seasons ago, which has been our downfall with them able to string a few passes together and be baring down on our goal.

It was left back that managers would target to beat us, now they know Rodri can be got at as well when pressed.

Yeah, the pen was a slice of luck post-VAR. It's the contact on the goalie's leg that would render no pen for the oppostion at Anfield or The Swamp.,

I rate Eric over John. End of. It doesn’t make me a Barcelona fan. I’m a City fan and I hope he stays because that would be good news for our team. I’m clearly better than you at identifying talent.
