I took it mate... With the chances we had in the first half and the fact they scored off there only chance it was great odds...
.. I did bottle it a bit though by backing draw as well at 3-1, just in case haha... Knew we'd get a result though!
 
BBC Stats

reading the report of the game on the BBC Sport website and accoring to their stats Porto had 14 shots at goal with 9 on target!!!!

whereas City had just 8 shots with 6 on target!!!

couldn't have been watching the same game as i was?

I'm not a betting man but I thought that was a gimme. Didn't have a clue how to lay the bet though - plus it takes about 15 minutes to get the old laptop fired up.

Not a chance. Hart made one save to their keepers 5/6.

The commentators were creaming themselves over Porto in the first half but we had far more chances and looked by far more dangerous. Second half proved it.

I was shouting at him most of the game last night. You would have thought we we're playing a non league team the way he kept going on about how well Porto were playing.

On the contrary, mate, I thought he was a very good ref. I can't recall a single mistake by him last night. He didn't tolerate any of Hulk's shit either!

The only thing is that he was very strict, and ref'd the game to the letter of the law. He left his mark on the game with yellows, but did not pull out a second yellow to any of our players, even though a couple of them could have received one.

The most frustrating thing for me besides how strict he was, is that unlike English refs, this fucker does not like to play-on.

Couldn't agree more, both the commentators were embarrasingly bad and whatsmore bised against the English team. We need to use this as a motivational tool.
