Positive news about Corona Virus Updates

So new total death figures out today, admittedly over a week out of date, but show smallest gap between usual deaths and 2020 deaths of 2.3K, (the peak difference was of 12K in mid April).
Week 22 May it was 12.3K vs usual of 9.9K

My guess is that between July and December deaths will be below the average on the basis that those most vulnerable and who probably would have died in the next 6 months anyway will already have succumbed.

Scotland's new figures today have 53 new infections which is quite a bit higher than the past few days, but it was explained that 40 of those new recorded infections are actually a bit historic due to a delay (don't know why). From looking at the regional breakdown, the majority of them seem to be coming from Fife region.

Glasgow has 1 new case, Lothian 2. Very populated health boards with very low new infection rates. Positive stuff.
