I really really hope this is true, a world in further lockdown and more deaths doesn't bear thinking about.

Only 333 new infections detected in Germany in past 24 hours.
Korea only 35. 8 more than yesterday's figure but more than 50% below the number which panicked an imminent second wave from Thursday. Still worth keeping an eye on.

Pretty promising trial of a drug called Anakinra in the Lancet.
Small trial using historical comparisons but there was a significant drop in mortality in a group of severely affected but pre ventilator patients.
It's a drug which inhibits one of the cytokines.

That’s not the official number of positive tests. Maybe it’s an estimate based on random testing? Obviously more people will be getting it as for many there are no obvious symptoms. I would imagine at the peak tens of thousands were catching it daily.
