Positive news about Corona Virus Updates

Mixed news here, and I suppose death tolls are never positive no matter the number involved. But I suppose with infection rates like these, they will drop in time.

Not sure that the death toll rising a bit is any indicator, as ICU rates drop, sadly it will because some that have been in there a while will die.

Yeah I totally agree. It's just unfortunate that today's total was a bit higher. The less people getting infected will result in less deaths of course, so these infection numbers are really positive.
 
The ONS reports general transmission is falling rapidly from around 8000 cases a day a week ago to just over 5000 now. Currently 1 in a 1000 people have Covid-19 &, as stated above, vaccine trials are moving to Brazil as cases are too low in the UK to get meaningful results. The end of this month should see a really positive situation.
 
Since the newspaper articles and headlines one week ago now about a second wave in South Korea after last Friday (or was it Thursday even?) announced 79 new cases, its bobbled about between 20 odd and about 45 for the most part. Today and yesterday's figures stable at 39.

One week later and it doesn't seem that this second wave is getting anywhere near out of control, at this stage.
