Positives To Take From Today

The board may have watched Sterling’s (non)performance and decided once and for all that he ain’t getting it what he wants and can leave it he wants to.

Sterling doesn’t deserve a lot of the flack he gets but I do agree that maybe we’re at the end of the road with him.

Jesus hasn’t improved at all since he came to the club and isn’t anywhere near good enough either.

Ake proving he's capable - made some good tackles yesterday and didn't dive in.
The spirit not to throw the towel in and push them to the end.
Goals for Grealish and Bernardo - they'd probably forgotten what scoring feels like.

Nothing else.

The only positive for me is that Der Spiegel or some other cunts aren't rehashing some bollocks about the club today. You can be certain that if we'd have won yesterday the usual suspects would have a sudden concern for ffp, human rights in the middle East etc - as we lost none of those things matter.

1. That 1st half team won’t play again this season.
2. City won’t play as badly against Brighton.
3. The PL , the CL, the double, is still on.
4. United go to Liverpool on Tuesday knowing a win can take them to 4th place.(clutching at straws)
5. Erm……
United won't go 4th if they win

1.Exited the League Cup with a whimper.
2. The whole season we've been playing with BIelsa-like squad size and it caught up with us.
3. Strengthened a squad in the summer with a player that has been almost a complete failure so far. I like Jack, but I cannot find any other assessment about his contribution to our results so far.
4. Lost a player, first to injury and than sold him in the winter without replacing him. Like him or not, he actually contributed when playing.
5. Our direct opponents to all the trophies did exactly opposite.
6. Gave up a massive lead in the league after that mini winter-break, probably owing to all above said, because of injuries, overplaying, more injuries, etc..
7. The only other player who broke into the squad has been injured like forever.
8. It's clear now we have a manager who is happy to lose a game, who is happy to fuck it up just for fun of it, but what if the whole season ends up a failure, what will be our excuse be? 'Remember when we were shit and almost went out of existence'.

So what positives we are talking about here?

You’re gonna feel a little bit silly for posting that when we’ve won the league Sam.
