Positives To Take From Today

Raz I'm afraid just isn't good enough for us. I like him but he just doesn't cut it.
Steffen should never attempt to do an Eddie ever again. How a pro goalie can allow that to happen is beyond me.
Somebody actually predicted it in the pre match thread....that Zack is trying to be to much like Ederson and will make a balls of it.

Liverpool now have to re arrange another league game, so hopefully that will cost them in the league or the cup final if we’ve not won it then, although it would be nice if we could spoil the fa cup weekend by wrapping up the league by then.

Chelsea - Liverpool final.

Chelsea owe Liverpool one for the Carabao Cup Final defeat.

After a really tough run of games I'm happy, the league is in our hands and we're though to the Chumps League semi's.
Downside is yesterday but sometimes as painful as it is you have to take one for the greater good.
Am i missing something here? I dont know the age of any guys on here but i was born in 1968 and went to primary and secondary school's in the day when we turned up for a kick about before first lesson then a mini game at 1st break, then a good hour session at lunch, another mini game at afternoon break and a good hour after school. It continued after i left school and we played amateur and 5 a side every week. What im saying is can a pro footballer only play 1 game a week without having issues with recovery because this theme is trotted out on a regular basis. Or is there something to do with the intensity of these games that make it undoable? Its 90 minutes of running around with some twisting, turning, jumping and tackling. Im going to get slated for this but we need someone in that team who hates to lose. Someone who will drag the team up by their socks when we are losing. Someone similar to what Roy Keane did for the rags, Viera did for Arsenal & Kante does for Chelski.

So what you saying?
I've had a few!

No worries. Glad you've had a few. Have a few more for me...its been a while. Eerm well why did we have to take one yesterday for the greater good? Its 11 v 11 and its not like the replacements had never played before.
Tbh I don't know mate, I would've liked to have won it but if we win what we're left in I'll take that hit.

If Steffen doesn't fuck up and Jesus scores with that chance, we probably win that game despite being shit and having a number of key players out.

As per the league game, we're miles better than them, all things being equal.

I thought there was going to be another Agueroooooooo moment in the 93rd minute but I'm afraid Sterling ain't no Aguero!!!
