Possible blue fan in intensive care in blackpool

RIP Tony.
Condolences to the family.

Some people need to have a good, hard look at themselves.Preferably for a long, long time.

It's unbelievable how vicious someone can be over a game of football, I can't call them fans because real fans would never do anything like that and I don't particularly want to use the word person as someone who does something like this has no humanity. Throwing things at players and fans or assaulting them and injuring them is one thing and is awful but taking someone's life is a whole new level. I hope the scum who did this get the book thrown at them.

RIP, my thoughts and prayers are with Tony and his family.

It's truly tragic that a bloke goes to the pub to watch the football, and never makes it home. It's fucked up. It's a bit crass though to use it as point scoring against United. It's a problem with society as a whole, rather than just football.

Thoughts are with his family.

This is so so sad, poor man, poor family. The person who did this can't be called a "fan" he's an extremist, violent thug, football just gives people like this what they think is an excuse to be violent, and in this case it's ended with a death. My thoughts are with the family, and i hope whoever did this terrible thing is caught.

How can this happen?

RIP Tony Pepper. I just hope city stuff utd at our place, and we can dedicate the win to him.

Just copy and pasted this from the local paper.
Very, very sad. used the boozer loads of times and its a respectable, busy, well run, locals bar.
The assault was, sadly, related to the football. Its a tight knit community around there and it wont take long for the offender to be named.
Sad week all round
