Thats not that unusual to be fair in terms of swapping the dominant hand. I originally started playing piano and when I first started playing guitar, I found it a lot easier left handed than I did right.

David Gower was right handed but batted left. His musical ability was zero.

Charlie Chaplin who wrote the music for most of his films also wrote the music for "Smile" a song made famous by Nat King Cole and he wrote the song "This is my Song" a big hit for Petula Clark.
