Post match City v PSG

Thing is, we were better than PSG over the course of the two legs. There were no weak links in our side and all our players stepped up and produced disciplined performances. Whatever happens from here on, we proved that we can play our game against the elite in Europe.

TV3 Ireland
Richard Dunne on KDB
" He's been brilliant for us this season - lost 13-14 points in the league while he was out - shows you what a player he is becuse he gets goals " basically saying league table could have been much different had he been fit.

On Ibrahimovich
" He's self obsessed rather than team Obsessed " ..No comparison between him and Aguero tonight "

Kevin Kilbane was on the same show
" city deserved it tonight " said it twice

Blooming heck - we have entered a different universe -

Chis Waddle:

"Well done Man City, they thoroughly deserved it and they worked their socks off. PSG couldn't get anything going and were anonymous in the final third.

"We criticised the back four, but they were solid, as were Fernandinho and Fernando.

"Even when they beat Dynamo Kiev, people asked questions and they did the same when they drew PSG. They haven't played well but they've gone through again.

"The Champions League suits City defenders Nicolas Otamendi and Eliaquim Mangala. The Premier League is a hard league, it is end-to-end and tough. Today they played a European game and ground out a result.

"It'll be interesting to see where PSG go from here, they have some ageing players in their team."

Henry Winter:

"There will be a lot of focus on City goalkeeper Joe Hart in the morning. The two saves from Zlatan Ibrahimovic's free-kicks were brilliant. He exuded the confidence of his side.

"I was disappointed by PSG tonight. City boss Manuel Pellegrini's tactics were good and they went for the goal. They didn't sit back. Kevin de Bruyne has come back at just the right time for them.

"This is a good night for English football, it has taken a battering in recent years. This is the exact tonic the country needed. The coefficient wasn't that important but English teams have been outclassed too often in Europe recently. City are now in the semi-finals."

Officials allowed them to kick us all of the park whereas we got penalised for pretty much anything. I expected nothing less.

C'mon man. We won. Yeah the ref let some things go but who honestly gives a fuck at this point. We're on to the semis.

From Martin Samuel in the Daily Chavmail -

"Kevin De Bruyne curled his right foot around the ball, as if it was the simplest thing in the world. In reality, it has taken fortunes to get here. Financial fortunes, and a massive investment in sweat and tears, too."

Yes, financial fortunes. So much fucking money. Really really massive amounts of money. Meanwhile, in other news ... ManUre, Loserpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca, Real, Bayern, etc etc ... have spent absolutely nothing. Ever. No, seriously. Not a penny. All legit. Only City spend money. IT'S A FACT. Messi was free. Naymar too. And Ronaldo and Bale. All free, and Bayern only buy cheap players too. Really.

Suck my blue balls you wanker.
