According to the UEFA stats, Silva didn't make a single pass to Aguero the entire time he was on. Startling.

Did Aguero make any pass to Sterling? There was a moment when Sterling was through and Aguero simply ignored it. The front 4 needs more time to function well.

Since this was the front four line-up that many wanted. What's the verdict so far? Granted it's one game but needs a bit of work.

Second game in a row he's been poor and at times a liability.

For some reason, I was pretty relaxed about tonight because I just thought we'd win. Kun just needs a goal or two from open play to get back into the groove and it was good to have Silva back.

Lastly well done to the two Ferns!! Fernando in particular is beginning to show the form from his first 4-5 games after he joined, hopefully he'll keep this form up and the two Ferns will give us another option other than Yaya in central midfield. Yaya doesn't look fit, so we need to get on with the season without him until he's back up to speed.

Pellegrini set the team up correctly and didn't panic at 1-0 down and go back to his 442, but this probably had more to do with us having having a lack of striking options. Whatever, MP didn't panic and kept us going until our superior class told. Well done everyone, roll on Newcastle!!!

I still think we are.

I mean this with no disrespect but we allowed a decent at best Monchengladbach side cut through us at will. We need to make teams fear us and show them who the better side is. You only have to look at how their heads dropped after we equalised to see that they was there for the taking.

If Kun bags that early chance its a different game. But the fact we keep failing to take our chances and practically gift our opponents goal scoring opportunities means that every team will fancy their chances against us.
