Post match thread - City v Newcastle

Charlie Nicholas is a ****. Giving us no fucking credit at all.

Woeful first half (or first 35 minutes or so), fantastic second.

Great to see Aguero back, De Bruyne excellent in the second half. No words for how good Silva is.

Essentially a classic example of where we are at the moment: play in the half-assed, slow, passive manner we did in the first half and we're average; play aggressively, with urgency like we did in the second, and we're head and shoulders above anyone else in the country.

"some nice stuff" is about all he was willing to give us. Absolute ****. Imagine if one of the Sky 4 had gone and done that? We'd never hear the fucking end of it. Best 15 minutes of attacking football that anyone will play all season

Ecstatic to see us banging the goals in again. Couldn't give a fuck about not keeping another clean sheet for the rest of the season as long as we get our goal scoring back. Hopefully we figure out a good balance for using Aguero, Silva and De Bruyne, most importantly that they can all stay fit. Was looking worrying in the first half but we've had a couple of storming second halfs these past two games!

Feels a bit silly picking out flaws after a 6-1 win, but our defense is still very suspect at times. Otamendi gives the ball away far too often and Kolarov is back to the old habit of finding himself worryingly out of position. 5 goals in a space of what was it, 20 mins from Aguero?... never seen anything like that. Truly a world class player. We are so lucky to have him and Silva gracing our great club.
