The club, players and Pellegrini will get slaughtered this week because of the Abu Dhabi trip and rightly fooking so!!

Whomever made that decision to return so late should be fired!

That was the worse performance I have seen for 10+ years!

Not one single player for the 2nd week running comes out with any credit
Pelligrini has some major issues to resolve IMO

This squad isn't as good as the one Mancini had and I'm being serious...

Balo for the useless Jovetic
De-Jong for either of the equally shite and totally overrated DM's

Fook FFP our recent buys have been nothing short of woeful;
Mangala - 38MM
Fernando - 15MM
Navas - 15MM
Cabarello - 6MM

That's 74MM on players who are certainly not an upgrade on the players we had!!!

Imo something seems seriously wrong and they are hiding behind FFP....This isn't a blip, this is serious and big decisions are needed as we are simply imploding!!

Enough is enough and Heads need to roll

I've haven't been this angry since the infamous Pearce regime!!

This is no knee jerk reaction, I have supported our fantastic club for over 45 years and this, given our marvelous owners incredible backing is simply unacceptable!!

Worst performance for 10yrs?? Not by any amount of millimetres

Okay maybe I exagerated a tad, but given our current financial standing I believe it is up there with the worst since the Sheik purchased us! Name some worse performances under the sheiks ownership.

Forest away.

That was diabolical for Division Two City let alone Sheikh City.

Was at home actually, the 3-0

We have too many bloody bogey teams ffs. We're champs and should be putting effort into every game.

We should have enough depth to cover for Nasri and Yaya when they are out and shouldn't be using players like Boyata when better options are available. We need to change something fast.

No we don't. we only really have two: Boro & Arsenal.
We rarely win away at either of these places going back 50 years and we lose and draw at home a lot as well.
For the record, next in the list comes Liverpool & Everton (especially away).
and sunderland and fuckin burnley at home
Not to mention fucking stoke and newcastle now :P

this manager has no idea how to setup a team to defend. time after time to many players forward, always getting caught on counter attack. pathetic !
Short and to the point. A leopard never changes his spots either so expect more of the same going forward. We are only missing lescott or nasty from the defence that was one of the tightest in the league yet we look like conceding 2 or 3 every game now. Pellegrini will be gone this summer either way so let's hope the next man can tighten things up again.

I thought that. The start of his last sentence did make me chuckle in relation to that.

Read my subsequent response...

I'm glad I made a fellow blue chuckle after such a dire performance.... Sadly It will be s good few days until a chuckle comes from my mouth

I'm an annoyingly upbeat sort of chap, even after a defeat.

We cant afford to have more than one of Toure, Nasri or Silva out at the same time. This period has clearly exposed how thin we are for quality attacking midfielders who can hold the ball and unlock defences/teams that pretty much sit back on us. If we have all 3 available we are clearly best team in Premier League and a threat in Europe. WIth one missing, we can mostly get the job done, with 2 of them out we are very vulnerable.
Lets get Yaya and Nasri back and our season will be back on track for sure, just need to hold Chelsea next week (they are far from invincible). Keep the faith.
P>S we need to use our funds in summer for a gun midfielder, clear as day.

We need at least 4 quality replacements in the summer.

We have to start from defence as we ship in too many soft goals , 7 games since our last clean sheet says it all.

Pessimistic yes but I just hope things don't go off the rails to the extent we finish behind the likes of Manure and Arsenal this season.

When you consider we have lost 5 home games this season against sides we should be smashing fortress Etihad is done and dusted this season.

The dreaded let down to a trophy year strikes again.

To lose 2-0 at home and be knocked out of both Cups by very average opposition when you add Wigan last year it makes for sick reading.

Lets hope that history repeats next season.

We absolutely dominated for the first half, and started the second similarly.
Once the goal went it, everything changed.

We were frustrated, and dropped off for 20 minutes, then rallied towards the end, but got sucker punched.

I thought it was a decent performance from City all in all, however, you can't win games unless you score.

I've said it many times, and I'll carry on saying it... City set their stall out to camp out in the opposition's half, and if a team gets all their men behind the ball, we struggle to break them down.
When it's not working out, we need to sit deeper and invite teams onto us a little bit more to create more space for ourselves on the counter.

As it stands, we are very predictable, any teams who can defend well stand a chance against us. IF we score, then the game opens out a little, but if we don't, we're absolutely prone to this sort of loss.

As good as we are, we cannot keep trying to pass the ball through 10 defenders.

We were far from crap though. I've no idea how anybody could reach that conclusion.

No excuses, the only miniscule crumb of comfort is the Chelsea result.
Not for me would rather they had a fixture pile up

Losing 4-2 home to a League One side after being 2-0 up with the side they had put gives me a glimmer of hope that we can get something next week.

If you're an optimist, it give hope.
If you're a pessimist, they won't make that mistake twice in a row.
