Post Match Thread: City vs Everton

Biggest downside of the night for me was the feckin M6. What should be a routine 2 hr journey from Cumbria to M11 was scuppered by a lorry fire early in the afternoon. After three hours and only making it to Lancaster, knew I was going to miss the game. I tell you Everton are Jinxed as I missed the start of the league match .

Anyways, great game and Kun now looks to be back on all cylinders. I have no sympathy at all for Martinez who obviously feels any rub of the green they get doesn't count.

Hope Kev is back soon, but it did look nasty.

Just caught the highlights. Looked like a good performance. Okay, second goal was dodgy but damn, its about time a decision went our way. Shame about de B.

Being as it's hardly been mentioned. I was in 119 tonight and at least 2 toffees in 121 gave it the biggun when they scored, jumping up and down "get in there" at top note with a double armed salute to the toffee hordes above. He got given the verbals but wouldn't let it lie. Someone gave him a dig and the stewards intimated he should perhaps leave. His mate shoved him upwards on the stairs but he was still gobbing off so got another (to a loud cheer). Now although human this prick must have had the IQ of a carrott as he continued with running his mouth so next step up another dig (cheer again), then another on the next step each dig by somebody else. I counted 7 before he got the message and Fucked off with stewards in hot pursuit. Now I don't necessarily condone violence but this nob was asking for it and duly got it. The digs were not proper smacks either just little forget me not to take home from his visit. No other problems the whole game. Hardly the Goth hordes we were promised.
Seven slaps and still standing? Definitely in 121...

I thought the introduction of Navas was the turning point. As a team we seemed to do everything just that little bit quicker. I thought first half we were very pedestrian like, unfortunately I think Yaya played a big part in that. De-Bruyne added a completely different dimension to our play.

Martinez is clinging to our second goal as the reason they are out and he and his side are apparently "heartbroken" at the decision.
The same Martinez who only a few weeks back when asked about the Stones foul on Sterling in the league game, said something along the lines of, "we don't want video replays for everything, human error with referees is part of the game and its something we have to accept at times"....................... SO FUCKING ACCEPT IT!!!

It's just great to be back at Wembley, although Pellegrini really needs to come up with something as Klopp seems to know exactly how to set up against City.

Block 210 was rowdy,about 30-40 Everton all sat together,up singing,not giving a fuck.
All went up when they scored and then it went a bit mental.Eventually all chucked out.

I sit in either 210 or 211. When Everton scored there was a bunch in the posh seats that all jumped up and were singing and basically taking the piss. I don't mind too much if an away fan sits in the home end and keeps himself to himself but to be jumping up and singing you're just asking for a smack. I don't know why it took so long to get them out.
