Post Match Thread: City vs Spurs

When do you think the Pep talk became concrete? I actually am thinking it happened after our first game against Palace because since then our form has nosedived+

To be honest, I don't think MP has ever had a plan. We've achieved some good results inspite of his lack of a strategy rather than because of one.

I think you and blueincy need glasses, sarcasm was obvious.

Maybe a ;-) next time would help:-) Instead of "He's Shit!!"

He's signed a contract.

Of course he's coming and the idea you won't finish top 4 is in my eyes risible
It's not.

We were better today, but still quite a way off our potential. And we wont play well until Pellegrini drops Toure who is a massive drain on the team (that is my view and a minority one). I think ou problems are two fold: injuries and playing a player who has gone and is so far off the pace it's shocking.

These factors will get worse as the season progresses and we'll take big morale hits at Chelsea and Wembley. I am convinced we will lose at Wembley because Pellegrini is committed to playing Toure and he is so easy to bypass. It doesn't matter where Pellegrini plays him he cannot contribute (excepting the odd moments of magic)

If Utd, Southampton West Ham put a run together they will get 4th.We'll win a few home games, but will be very vulnerable away

I thought we worked harder than usual and certainly didn't deserve to lose. Positives for me was vinnie looking pretty good, in fact until the second goal, I thought defensively we were really good. David played well and I thought Yaya was better. The officials were awful and after the game at WHL that's hard to take. Manuel's substitution of Clichy was puzzling. Don't feel as down as I did last week at the result. Looking forward to watching it again when we get home.

Atleast under him last season we played consistent, free-flowing football. Apart from the odd games e.g. Newcastle, we haven't managed that in months.

Does anybody have footage of the offsides that were given against Aguero today? Been looking can't find any yet..

Toure was awful even though he did try and make an effort. Unbelievable he stayed on for the full game. That's what worries me the most. We have a Cup Final and some big games ahead. We'll lose the lot if he plays. He is that bad

Tell you what...go and look again at Aguero today and then tell me who was awful. Sergio was dire.
