I agree never heard so much shit. Injuries have been the problem. Only weeks ago we were talking about City's best ever performance. Same manager by the way.

bbc talking sense

City still labouring away, but at the risk of re-covering old ground, take Aguero, Silva and Kompany and now Hart out of this team and the wheels rather come off.

Any team would miss those players of course...

No worries for Southampton, Aguero will spank em. ( auto correct changed that to "me" but caught the sly bastard soon enough )

Never thought we'd get anything out of that game. Going there with half a team was a really tough call

Ridiculous to blame Pellegrini tonight. Saturday maybe

Now got a really difficult game against Southampton. We're up against it now with all these injuries

Half a team? If Kompany and Silva were fully fit we'd have arguably had our first 11 out.

That was unacceptable, again.

Buffon could have watched the game at my house, no need for him to be there.

Personally I thought we played some good football both games v Juve...the thing that let us down on both occasions was poor finishing...take the chances and I think we win both games....Aguero coming back to fitness will come good, Silva to return...not too much wrong here.

They're also top of their group. And again, last year they were in the final of the CL. Losing three players who were good on FIFA but in terms of their team 2 of them were bit part players who contributed little and have been replaced by better

At the end of the day mate they are 6th in serie A. Its a weaker team than last year and we should be doing better at least drawing

1 goal and 0 wins in last 3 games and a never ending injury list.
Don't fancy our chances on Saturday either. Worrying times.

I will probably get laughed at here but...

I think Clichy did well and it's good to see him back. Looked more defensively assured down that left and also he's calm when in possession and keeps the ball simple when it's an option.
I'm not laughing but we had fuck all penetration down the left without Kolarov who would surely have come on but for Hart's problem.

This was a game which proves the point... if you dont bury your chances you lose.. there were at least 2 or 3 clear goal scoring opportunities that we completely fucked up.

works both ways, they had the better chances

Don't think we were too bad overall, but it's embarrassing how often certain players miss sitters. We have a lack of a cutting edge and regularly have two of the worst finishers I have ever ever seen(Sterling and Navas) occupying 2 of 4 attacking spots (I know 1 didn't start tonight). How we spent £50m on a player who's only real assets appear to be pace and 'he's an outlet/threat on the counter' is beyond me. You know you're in trouble when you think of strengths and his nationality crosses your mind before his technical abilities. I fail to see how he's going to improve given he can't actually cleanly strike a football at 20 years old.

That aside, we are such a confused team. We try and maintain a lot of width, but we only try and cross when the box is packed. We maintain a lot of width yet we don't have the pace in transition to close the gaps when we lose the ball. We maintain a lot of width but we move the ball far too slowly to cause any damage with it. We maintain a lot of width but our full backs totally cancel out our wingers by occupying exactly the same space. There's no threat because the opposition know we never cross the ball.

I just don't understand what we are trying to do half the time. I used to, but I don't anymore.
