I remember when we signed Silva, and about 4-5 months into his City career, some people were convinced that he was to small to ever make it in England. It takes time for players to adjust to the prem.

You cant judge players until they have had a full season in the prem.

Sterling has already had seasons in the Prem. The thing that gets me though is that some of our fans can't see a work in progress - especially when he cost a lot of money

His finishing is a weakness but as somebody else mentioned, he could have legit had 20 goals by now if he was good at it. He's a young lad, 3 years younger than the Lingard rag who everybody is saying needs time to develop.

If a 20 year old is missing 20 goals in 3 months then I think some people should think about how talented he has to be to get into those positions that often, and how big a player he'll be for us after a few years working on his weaknesses with our coaches. He reminds me not on talent but on attitude of Ronaldo when he was at United. He was seen as a diving waster who was never going to be good enough and kept either skying it over or jumping on the ground. He turned out alright. Sterling is spectacularly young, we have players in our youth team who are older than him.

I call bollocks to that lol........better than a defender that's 90% shithouse.
What does Clichy do wrong...

He's quicker, he's alot more assured on the ball and defends alot better then Kolarov. He's not a left back that will stand out, however he does a good job. We all have different opinions and I respect that.

It is a bit depressing at the moment. Injuries are taking their toll it seems every game we lose another player. No excuse though as other teams have just as many injuries as us and seem to cope better. On paper we have the squad to cope but on the field they don't match their reputation or the fee we paid for them.It is baffling how the best players in their position in their respective European leagues come here and at times look like they are complete novices.

I certainly haven't got a clue why.Are we scouting and buying the wrong players? Is the training, the set up and the manager to blame? It is worrying as we were dog shit for most of last season and only a stellar last 6 games probably kept Pellegrini here.In hindsight maybe that was a bad thing and like the end of the season a good start this season has clouded over a bigger problem?

When we are missing top key players we need to set up better tactically to become harder to beat but we seem incapable of doing that, add to that too many individual errors sprinkled through the team and we are where we are.No idea what the answer is but there is a man being paid a fortune to sort it out and i hope he does as soon as possible!

I can see Pellers working on the premise that we have already qualified, shove on a makeshift to accommodate the weekend game, Moenchengladders are up for it and want a PL scalp. Oh, it's making me depressed ahead of the Soton game!

Comes right after Stoke away too. Gladbach win and they get Europa
Which for them is a real achievement. If it wasn't they wouldn't have been arsed tonight. They caused us lots of problems over there and if Kompany is out we will be the same old shambles at the back.
