Any number of youtube vids will show you how wrong that assertion is, all forwards miss tap-ins at some point.

I've seen some misses in my time by world class strikers but they only miss one or two. Raheem seems to be cornering the bloody market in sitters! Is he getting them out of his system this season or is this part and parcel of the lad's game?

I'm just glad we didn't have Sergio and Silva as 20 year olds, a few missed chances or misplaced balls and some in here would have had them written off.
It's not as if Silva and even Aguero don't miss good chances still.

Pretty much yes. He is quick but other than that I struggle to see what technical attributes he has that make him good enough to be a prem footballer.

I hope I'm wrong, I want all blues to be successful. But it comes off his shin more than his boots. I've never seen him strike a ball cleanly and as for his crossing...

No words, it was all in place to go and not lose. Lots of chances, no goals. One chance for juve, one goal. Pisses me off.

Defensively this team was ok. Midfield was alright but attack was non existent.

With no striker (don't even count the unfit aguero as one) were not going to win any games, I can't see where we're going to end up. Actually I lied, barca or bayern await, don't tell me otherwise.

Juve played brilliantly, pogba was exceptional and showed why we should've took the plunge.

Joe hart got injured, the medical team is really taking the piss now, how many injuries is that? Sack them all now.

Yaya was shocking, yet again. Fernandinho off for Delph was questionable, killed off any chances we had really, even though Delph played well and showed why he was recruited.

Sterling had a golden chance, same for fernandinho.

Pellegrini tonight has shown what a fraud he is, mancini's team, who has pellegrini even recruited that has actually looked alright? Fernandinho signed before pellegrini was even here so don't say him, when the time is right (end of season), he has to go. Enough is enough, guardiola or ancelotti await.

Agree with this for the most part.

Except I think Pellegrini needs to go now.

The biggest surprise for me is the amount of rags posting on this thread when they have played at home tonight and are in a much worse position than us in their respective group. You know who you are !

What has happened? We started off very solid with a couple more dimensions to our play at the start of the season and bring in a world class player in KDB. We look so top heavy going forward with our attacking midfielders yet we don't look like hurting teams in the most important part of the pitch in the box. We play pretty passes around the area but we need to get some bodies in the box and take a gamble, when we did that tonight (very rarely) we created 3 big opportunities. Our defence is shocking, what has happened to the basics? Mangala and Ottamendi have shown very uncomfortable defensive positions in the last couple of games which have cost us.

Another 94 minutes of total waste. Unfortunately the Sevilla away game was a one off. We are shite in Europe and not an inch closing at the top of Europe. Light years behind Barcelona, Real and Bayern.

Totally toothless again today. Juventus had an was night. They scored and shut up shop. Pretty much what they serve their fans week in week out. Home loss in the 1st game cost us. We will finish second, draw one of the top 3 and that's it. Same old.

Yaya a disgrace tonight. Blocking creativity of KDB and Fernandinho. With the former hiding and nowhere near his best. Not a single player in the back 4 that can pass a ball when feeling the slightest pressure. The usual boring slow passing game that we have seen too frequently in the last 4 years.
And if any on here keep defending Sterling he needs to let a brain check. How on earth did we pay this kind of money for this. Dippers having a weekly field day watching Sterling. What a howler not scoring the only real chance in the 2nd half.

And if it couldn't get worse Hart injured himself. What a night.
