Post Something Interesting

The thought experiment I remember regards illegal parking. Take Utilitarianism's aguments in their purest form, and go measure the impact on patients due to delays caused to ambulances and fire engines from illegal parking leading to jams and blocked roads. One could easily use the Utilitarian position to justify the death sentence as a normal penalty for parking transgressions.

I like your thinking. Have you ever thought of joining Reform?

When looking up into the night sky, you can see millions of stars with the naked eye. When using high-powered telescopes, that number jumps up into the billions.

While most people cannot point out too many specific stars, they know they are always there. Throughout human history, people have even used the consistency of the stars to aid in navigation, planning, and much more.

Of course, today we know that stars do eventually die, often in brilliant explosions known as supernovae. Smaller stars can also simply fade out over time as they exhaust their fuel sources.

Over the past 70 years, however, scientists have documented another phenomenon with stars. They simply disappear without a trace. Astronomers look at the star at one point, then when they return (even just an hour later), and it is gone.

What makes this even more unusual is that the star never returns.
I can't be the only one that read that in an inner Brian Cox voice.

Well, obviously we'd need to make sure true Brits were able to continue parking as recklessly as they like, having implanted in the memory they'd always been this thoughtless and anti-social and in no way was it the passive-aggressive result of the ever increasing number of injuries suffered from life's slings and arrows showing no sign of slowing down, despite their recent revelation that they are, and had always been, members of the chosen race..

I'd propose some sort of sticker for their cars, notifying service workers and other ethnicities that they bear the responsibility for ensuring there are no additional delays.

Probably it's easier to scrap ambulances altogether! Running to the hospital would do a lot of obese lazy types good. This being an inner city problem, I would also suggest we would be justified in banning young non-white people from driving.

Also no more cycling. It's a very European thing, needs scrapping.
