The Celts (Scottish, Welsh, Cornish) aren't.
What if the altar is to the north or south. Who sits to the east and west.Up until Victorian times, men and women were segregated in church. Women sat on the north side of the aisle, men on the south. The system broke when more and more influential men decided they wanted to sit with their wives.
However, it is still the custom at weddings for the groom to take the south side and the bride the north.
Not a lot of people know that! Not even people who direct Jane Austen adaptations.
I've never been to Hull. True story.

Whilst a day out and a train trip sound great as a boy, I don't know what to make of the rest of that."I've never been to Hull. True story.
I lived in Burnage as a boy and 1 day, in about 1965 my uncle came to take me out for the day on the train. He took me to Hull prison to see my cousin, Denis, who was in clink for burglary. To this day, those are the only times I've seen Hull and Denis. True story.
Jeff Stelling supports another team?My hometown is known for only one thing, and it isn't true. So we're not really here.
Therefore it's factually correct so what is your point? The song...Its a long way to Tipperary, was written in Stalybridge
Cheers - you're not really Denis are you, with a pseudonym as you're on the run after escaping Hull, perhaps?Whilst a day out and a train trip sound great as a boy, I don't know what to make of the rest of that.
It absolutely fits the OP's brief though.
It's interestingTherefore it's factually correct so what is your point?
Shush, eyes everywhere. Besides, you might give some on here the idea that I'm not actually a doctor.Cheers - you're not really Denis are you, with a pseudonym as you're on the run after escaping Hull, perhaps?
That's OK then I thought you were saying it isn't that far. It's interesting
Sorry mate. First one is wrong. I used to believe this, but have since been told (and subsequently read) that it’s estimated that over 117 Billion humans have lived/died.There are more people alive today than all the people who have existed previously, up to tten years ago. There is enough room in Texas/New Mexico to house the entire population of the planet, at the same density as San Francisco.

Cane toad racing is a good night out. Beats bingoLicking the head of a Cane Toad became a source of a "trip" for some drug users in Australia during the 1980's. As a defence from predators, the toad produces the hallucinogenic chemical Bufotenine
The Cane toad has come into some renown in Australia, where four people died last year after partaking of its marbled flesh. (Depending on the size of the toad and the concentrations of toxin consumed, bufotenine can be fatal). The toad was imported to Australia from Hawaii in 1935 to kill the grayback beetle, which was destroying sugar cane in Queensland. The toad adapted beautifully, multiplied by the millions and ate everything--except for the beetle.Cane toad racing is a good night out. Beats bingo
