Poznan gone by Feb?

Dont mind doing it at away matches because its usually over and done with quickly. But at home games by the time it gets going the match has re-started. My main interest these days is in waiting for the day City score when half the crowd have their backs turned.

Started using it as a toilet / drink break to avoid doing it, hahaha. Really do think it has run its course, there is no enthusiasm where I am sat and it's like being told you have to do a chore before you can go out and play. Prefer to sing, etc.

Poznan seems to be becoming a big game response now, the smaller games it seems like nobody can really be bothered.

It will always be around in Wembley days etc for years to come.. it looked amazing at Wembley last year!!!

NOT SAYING I DONT LIKE IT, IT WAS AND STILL IS THE BEST CELEBRATION IVE SEEN FROM FANS, JUST NOTICED PEOPLE EVEN ON THE 2ND GOAL MOANING,

SORRY TO OPEN ANOTHER THREAD...

ARE YOU ALRIGHT MATE?

Seriously though, agree with most of the opinions, I think it would be better in big games or just for the opening goal, but how would that ever be arranged? Can see it dying out and then coming back in big games.

Vast majority of fans do this...

*Sit in silence with arms folded.
>>City score<<
*jump up, Poznan for 15 seconds, sing 'We score when we want' followed by 'Mancini whoa'
*sit back down and resume folded arms position in silence.

Can't see this changing anytime soon, unless you replace everyone over the age of 45 with some eastern european lunatic fans. Pretty unlikely, so stop moaning about it after every match. These fellas are the lifeblood of our club.

We did 5 Poznans at White Hart Lane and I was fucked at the end! I no longer Poznan unless everyone around me is doing it. I rarely see it in 216, too.

The problem for me is that opposition fans have cottoned on to it and do a Poznan themselves when they equalise etc.

can't wait for it to end, especially as i seem like a scrooge when i dont do it. i only like spontaneous celebration

I am now to be fair, probably down to the fact we do it 4-5 times each time there (not complaining) maybe the 'throw-in' is the was forward! ;)

Sad but oh so true. I think we will be singing "time for our sandwiches" soon before half time.

I was in the second tier at Blackburn this year and it was like being in a fucking sauna, that 4th poznan had more people falling over from exhaustion than jumping up and down
