Nobody is going to stop the booing. No offence to the OP. But why do threads keep on getting posted on BM to stop or swap the booing? It won’t happen. Booo, do the Poznan, and chant City! City! City! Do the lot while the UEFA jingle is blasted out. And after that get behind the team throughout the the match, just like we did at Wembley.

But why do threads keep on getting posted on BM to stop or swap the booing? It won’t happen. Booo, do the Poznan, and chant City! City! City! Do the lot while the UEFA jingle is blasted out. Because people want us to win the game and our captain has literally just said that they players want a positive vibe from the start of the game to help them. So I imagine the OP listens to Gundo and wants to support the team rather than worry about the sensitivities of the boo brigade.

I’m trying to be honest. Our Captain wants that. Our players want that. Pep wants that. Some on here want that. But the booing will happen. It happened against Real Madrid at the Etihad, and Pep asked for our support that night, and boy did Pep and the team still get our support that night. Booing the UEFA jingle for 30 seconds isn’t going to have a negative effect or impact on the players or on their performance. If anything, it will remind them, not that they need reminding, of why we hate UEFA so much because what UEFA have done to the club and to the fans. No offence, but if you honestly think booing the UEFA jingle won’t happen during the UEFA jingle, good luck. Once the UEFA jingle starts, the booing will start, then chants of City! City! City! will follow. Done!
