Pozo

He should be signed on a 3-4 year deal and loaned to Spain for 1-2 seasons.

No way should be sell him but we have so many options at the moment for #10

Derby County have been tipped to add to their five summer signings so far with reports linking with Jose Angel Pozo of Manchester City. The youngster started off at Real Madrid although left before Head Coach Paul Clement joined when Manchester City paid a fee of around £2.4 million for the forward in 2012. Pozo made three appearances for City last season and scored his first goal in the 7-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup.

The 19-year-old has reportedly been identified as a potential target, presumably on loan, with Pozo looking to pick up first team experience to aid his development.

I'd like to see Pozo go out on loan in England.

Very talented player, maybe not quite used to English football yet. Remember he had a long term injury at a key point in his development.

So much potential, I just think he needs to adjust to English football and a loan to a good Championship club would be perfect next season.

With all of the hand-wringing in the Lopes thread it a wonder to me that no one has mentioned Pozo. No 1st team announcement and no squad number, you've got to wonder where his future lies as it doesn't look like it is at city.

Was only thinking this last night. They must be willing to send him off for a year somewhere. What's his contract situation?

No surprise, as in my opinion he is currently a million miles away from being worthy of a squad place. I don't think he'll ever play regularly in the Premier League.

I wouldn't say he's a million miles away, hundreds maybe, but certainly not millions. ;) I think he's closer to being finished development-wise than the other EDS lads who've gone out on loan+purchase deals this Summer. His game just doesn't seem suited to our current style or to the PL; maybe a loan to Spain or Holland would suit for putting him in the shop window.

He just needs to play at this stage of his career. He won't get the chance with us so I think Derby is a good move. They play good football and have a good manager.
