Pozo

Happy for the kid. Did really well on Saturday. Looked like he wasn't sure of the kind of work he should be putting in (in terms of my movement around the centre halves) but he slowly began to figure it out and his movement improved over the course of the first half. He earned that chance in the 2nd half.

Talk about scary excitement though. I bet he didn't expect to be leading the line against Everton for most of the game haha. Good job kid. Hope to see more of you

On his own up front, out of position, against probably one of the most experienced centre back pairings in the PL, he did very well, that he's got some criticism is amazing, shame he didn't get the goal to top it off.

looked a little overawed initially, but gradually found his feet and was unlucky with his chance in the second half

well done that man

If had not connected with that shot so well, it might have gone in. He did well playing a difficult role

It was a difficult game for him - up against two strong centre backs who have so much experience. His movement was excellent and for me he isn't an out and out centre forward - he wants to get on the ball and make things happen. Often the movement of Milner, Nasri, Navas and Zabaleta was taking the space he was looking to get into but when he adjusted and looked to stay further forward he got the chance and connected well with it. If that had have gone in it would have been the perfect game for him, but it's great experience and he played as well as can be expected. He's young and I think his natural position is probably a number 10 more than number 9.

difficult introduction for him on Saturday and ideally he'd have been brought on to play along side another more experienced striker when we were a couple of goals up but needs must and all that.....did well all things considered and the near goal in the 2nd half would have been the icing on the cake for the lad. City obviously rate him highly, he looks very nimble and fleet of foot

He did well. Watched him off the ball a few times and he got into some very good positions but was often overlooked for the pass which is a shame. He didn't get a lot of service, could have had a goal and was playing out of position. A solid performance from him, hope to see more in the near future.

The Carling Cup was the opportunity to play him and maybe one or two others but for some reason despite knowing we wouldn't be playing a strong Newcastle side with them having played 2 days earlier, the chance wasn't taken.

Depending on who we get, I would give him another go in the FA Cup.

Pozo was born the day before Kinkladze's famous goal against Southampton.

I don't know whether he'll make it, but suddenly I feel very old.

urgh cheers me too!

Isn't he fictional? We don't give youth a chance. He can't possibly have played, we don't play youth. We will have put Sagna up front surely.
