He just needs to play at this stage of his career. He won't get the chance with us so I think Derby is a good move. They play good football and have a good manager.

Has he been linked with Derby? I hadn't seen him linked with anyone. He's not the quickest or fastest player so I'd have thought he'd have a better chance to breaking out on the continent.

Jeez, it's tough in the EDS nowadays. It wasn't very long ago that both Pozo and Lopes were nailed on 1st teamers, now everybody looks happy to sell them on.

He hasn't been the same player since his injuries. Bit like what happened to Guidetti. Really bad timing.

But he is seriously talented. A loan would be ideal, then he will either sink or swim & we can decide what to do about him. There is no doubting this kid's talent. For some reason he isn't doing it.

Think a Championship loan would give us a huge indication of his ability. Important he goes somewhere that he will play. Derby makes some sense, certainly with the injury to Will Hughes leaving them short in the CAM position. However, I worry just how regularly he would play there. Would imagine a Brentford style of football would suit him. Admittedly I don't know enough about their side to know if he would play mind.

When Sergioooooooooo was injured v EFC last season it was Pozo's chance to show he was ready for the first team. His performances show either he wasn't ready or he hasn't got what he needs! I think it's the latter.
