We will belt these, no doubt, maybe if it was an xmas game with injuries, tiredness, a drop in confidence etc its a potential upset but not now. Would like to see Raheem get off the mark, he's done well but for that price you want goals too, no excuses.

I took my lad to his first game coincidentally against Watford in the FA Cup last season. At half time we were 2-0 down, and although we eventually won 4-2 - I'm not counting any chickens - but will take a City win.

Make no bones about it, Watford will be a tough match, City 1v0 and 3 points and I would be delighted

Same starting 11, would be good to see otamendi at some stage.

12 points and 4 clean sheets before the international break would be excellent.

It really would be dreamland if we could get another win and clean sheet. Would love a goal for Sterling, and another one for Aguero to really get him off and running.

I recently saw a post on here describing this match as "3 points against Watford are exactly the same 3 points against Chelsea". I like that. It's a nice way to sum up the attitude that is needed from us on Saturday. Too many times we've slipped up against these 'smaller' teams, and yet it's the exact same 3 points on offer.

Same team, same momentum.

Same team again. Hopefully Fernandihno avoids another booking! Get the job done and then a few more minutes for Delph, Bony and Nasri at the end. I can't see us going four games without conceding so 4-1 for me although with the chances we're creating it could be more.

So Watford have travelled up to play Preston tonight in Capital One Cup Round 2 tie ... then they will go back late night, and then come back up on Saturday morning or Friday ... I hope they get a draw at full time then have to play extra time and pens ... and then I also hope, in thinking they'd like to stay in the cups, take this seriously and play their first choice XI ... that and extra time will do us just fine come Saturday :)

I think what Mr Say_Onyna is saying is he thinks some of us are starting to sound the same as we know the rag scum fans have sounded like for years... arrogant, smug tossers.

I think he has a point...

Don't let us get like the filth fans... ever.

Mind you... some Blue Mooners seem so young, they probably only know City as a trophy winning club...

I reckon Watford might give us a tough game... if they do park the bus, it will be interesting to see if, with the addition of the excellent Sterling, we can over come it better than last season.

Yes - this entirely. Someone else asked whether I know any Man City fans and being as how (apart from a couple of weeks at an OU summer school at UMIST) I've never spent much time in Manchester, the answer is no.

I've known a whole bloody load of Manures, Lpools, Arsenholers and Spudsers though. Half-interested, bone-headed, glory hunting jacklegs and snivelling lickspittles - every last one of 'em. Ones that swap their allegiance depending on who's on top at this very moment and you can't even be bothered to dispute it with them because you can barely remember who it was they were supposed to "support" in the first place - that support amounting to owning a team branded coffee mug, watching them on MOTD and crowing to anyone listening whenever "their" team wins something and waiting for you to congratulate them as though they personally had contributed to the victory.

Those ones.

I'd always considered you to be more grounded in reality. To be able to understand that, like ying and yang, you have to endure the shitty times in order to properly enjoy the good times. Otherwise, what have you got to measure them against?

So I'd considered Man City fans to be more like "us".

That's why I was genuinely taken aback to see comments on this thread in a style I'd consider boastful and arrogant.

PS Thanks for the "Mr" by the way. It's 2015 mate. Just because I follow the football......We even play it sometimes now you know!
