I think our momentum in the league and our desire to finally succeed in the Champions League will carry us through this game despite Sterling, Silva and Aguero being injury doubts. Perfect time to play Juventus. 2-0 City.

That for me is "worst case scenario" as in Sterling/Silva/Aguero all confirmed out. Nasri/KDB may swap round. Hoping at least one of those guys is available though as the line up I've put up is a bit slow & narrow; Sterling would give us the pace & width with more end product than Navas - & someone for playmaker to pick out making runs. Silva obviously ups our level a notch whenever he's on the pitch. Aguero will strike fear into any defence.

Even if all 3 of those guys don't make it though it is a strong enough team to get a win with the fans behind them etc. Should be a great match.

I live in AUS, here the games used to be televised on ESPN via foxtel, anyone have a clue who will be televising them now other then bein sports

Juventus are obviously a team with a huge about of European history and success. That being said, looking at the team sheets, even with our potential outs, this is a game we really should be winning. We are stronger on paper and they have lost a number of their best players from last seasons CL run. Adding to that, their start to Serie A has been woeful and their midfield is currently devastated with injuries. It would be a mistake to give them too much respect on the field, this is not like coming up against Barca, Bayern or Real, its a significant step below. We should be pressing them, hounding them, and basically playing like we own the pitch. This is the level of team we need to be beating regularly to take the next step at CL level and we should now have the personnel to do it.

You will have to have an account with Beinsport because they are showing the rags game live, and sbs are showing the Real Madrid game. If you have Beinsport connect then you can watch the game on your laptop, ipad etc. Unfortunately that's the only way the game can be watched live in Australia.

looking forward to this one. Hoping Sterling and Silva will be back as it seems Sergio tweeted that his injury is not as bad as first thought so should play. Juventus have not started well at all, home win for me...City 2-0

Definitely a game we can, and should, win, especially given current form of both teams.

That said, this smacks of Napoli all over again....high degree of excitement at, and about, City and an Italian team coming to the Etihad to steal points from us on the break.

Fingers and toes crossed that this really IS our time, this time!
